Finished this today.  Monday Blues….but these blues rock!  Thought I'd share.

Feeling a bit overwhelmed and in a fog and think I'll ease back instead of forging forward and see what happens (that's the other side of the blues…I don't have a necklace for this yet).

Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy this latest work.Beadwork blues with earrings full

thought for the day: Oddly enough, it can be difficult to identify stressful thoughts even when we are stuck and unhappy….If for any reason you draw a blank when it comes to finding a stressful thought, answering these questions and completing the sentence stems should [help]. Think of your answers as a bucketful of wriggly earthworms just begging to [dig in your dirt.]:

  • Now, after that effusion I had to go back and look at it again, and as I gazed at the lampwork bead I saw a face in it. In your photo it is upside down. The two black strips across the bottom are eyes, a nose is formed by the silver vertical and the mouth is in the pale horizontal stripe. It looks like a very serene face, as epitomizes blue to me. Quietness and peace rather than depression. I love to lie in the tall grass in the fall and watch the gold heads wave against a cloudless blue sky. I can imagine myself sinking deep into the limitless spaces of the universe, and that is what this necklace brings back to me as I look at it.

  • Ohhh, deep breath. That is a happy dancing sort of sky/sea blue with iridescence and sparkles. I really like this necklace. I am now reminding myself of the fact that I have scads of necklaces that I do not wear hanging on display in my room. Nonetheless, this is a beautiful piece of art.

  • very pretty – opposite color scheme as the one below. you have found balance?

  • OH!
Tammy, The blues are gorgeous. This is like an ocean-treasure, the different blues are incredible! The aquamarines are the thing that makes it perfect…
