Yesterday downtime – couldn’t get myself moving. Today mad creating in the studio on the tall thing.
Getting ready for early March retreat with Christine Kane in the Asheville, NC area. She sent along info on the surrounding area’s galleries and shops. Here, go look:
Temple Cassara who greatly reminds me of Betty LaDuke. I love this work. Meanwhile my own work becomes more and more abstract and less detailed. I don’t know if I could do detailed anymore if I tried.
Will also be visiting with cousins I haven’t seen in 25 years. Am SO looking forward to this!

The retreat sounds wonderful! I know you'll come back inspired and inspiring.
internal landscapes… I love the thought of it.
now I have retreat envy…
You are going to love Asheville. Plan to take a drive on the parkway while you are there. And be prepared for warm or cold weather in March.
Sounds like you are planning a good time!
And downtime does just happen sometimes.
I've been finding it hard to get myself to shift back into gear after making so many cards, I know there a couple of really important ones missing but I've come to the conclusion that I need to rest a bit.
oo, i love temple cassara's work! particularly the lilith piece and the dreaming with red feet piece. yummy!!
you must be excited for your retreat! i'm searching out one for myself now. i'm not sure exactly what i want in a retreat, but i'm going to do something in celebration of shifting into my new job and finishing school…
