Tracy: it’s so easy to get focused on what we’re “supposed” to be doing, especially if we have art as a business. So I hear you! And…you made me laugh visualizing a head rubber band, which made one of my small voices pipe up saying: yanno, you could do that with one of those fuzzy elastic headbands…..
*smacks head too* It was the collective smack heard ’round the world! As I head into holiday mode, it’s important to remember to put myself on the to-do list. 😉 I know I have a habit moving “me” down or even off it! Thanks for the reminder. I wonder if there is a rubber band around here I can put around my head (vs. my wrist) to pull when I forget. My head is immune to mere slaps. It’s gotten a bit rock-hard lately!

Rita: I wish I could claim those word reversals, but I’ve seen them several places, including Stacey Curnow’s Midwife for Your Life blog. They’re out in the general consciousness.
I always draw them eyes closed – that way I can print them, open their eyes and paste them on another background and have a totally different picture!
Maybe I should hit myself upside the head once in a while–LOL!

yes you are!!!!! like the smack to the head bit… I do that so often I think I have a flat part on my skull xx
