Prophecy

1.
The path is never clear, only the proud sure of the next step – one they’ve already taken – traveling in circles or simply backward, only the Fool daring to step into the air trusting her foot will find purchase.

2.
Once I chose to read books to find what I already thought I knew, to cheer myself that I was on the right path as if there is only one right way.

Write your truths, facts or fictions or something in between, on cards of different colors, draw pictures on the edges, pile them up, place them face down in front of you, position and reposition them.  Pick one or all.  Read what you have so preferred.  This is a game.  Isn’t it?

4.
Even without pen and paper, without a proper path, without a packet of pretty playing cards, even then you can produce a story within which you may live, happily or otherwise.  And still tonight the moon will rise to her appointed rounds, and if there are no clouds you will see the stars.
