Working on show pieces. Following are: a beadwork piece with the focal made from an Ocracoke shell and matching earrings ($135, $20); a jewelry set of necklace, bracelet, earrings ($135, $40, $20)made from a yummy new stone I found at the Bead show whose name I did not write down. Cherry something. Anyone out there know?
Enjoy! And don't forget: they're all one of a kind (just like yoU!)
thought for the day: A good system will help you to follow up with collectors, buyers, and other contacts. If the one you have right now isn't working, fix it…Saying thank you in a genuine way should be ingrained in your business practices. Although there are perfectly legitimate reaons for using email to say thank you, handwritten nots will set you apart not only from other artists but also from most people. Alyson Stanfield, I'd rather be in the studio: The Artist's No-Excuse Guide to Self-Promotion [ed note: if you're an artist you should have this book in your reference collection. If you don't have a collection, start with this.]
