The following YouTube of Neil Gaiman reading came to my on my MySpace from Melissa Marr, who writes amazing faery tales (her latest: Ink Exchange, her first: Wicked Lovely). Melissa also happens to own one of my torsos, which is how I found her and her writing.
I love faery/fairy/good tales. They tell us som much about life. And Neil Gaiman is a spectacular writer. I came to his writing with American Gods and later Anansi Boys. He has a great talent for updating the "old" gods and goddesses.
Here he is reading a poem. Until this I had never had the opportunity to read his poetry, or hear it. He is a great reader. Close your eyes and listen.

Tammy, thanks sooooooooooooooooooooo much for sharing this, I just sat and shut my eyes and listened and it transported me someone else, into this little house and I saw all the creatures and witches and princesses and frogs I remember from the many fairytales I read:)
Made my day.
