Thought I’d just let you see my process for getting ready for an art show.  There’s more to it than this (your checklist is your bible), but I thought this might be helpful in thinking through your display.

I had a different display last year so I had to do some visual setup (and you should always setup to practice your arrangement before a show anyways), so I thought I’d record it. 

Here’s last year’s blog on preparing for Artsfest.  And three things to remember after the show (with a picture of my actual show setup).

  • […] This is Annmarie Garden where I showed all weekend at Artsfest – good show.  Per person sales were down but traffic was up and it all pretty much evened out compared to last year.  Plus I made many good contacts:  new folks who gave me their contact information for my database, specifically interested in taking torso classes.  Shows are never measured just in sales.  I had people wearing my jewelry from former shows sending new people to my booth to buy some of their own.  This is great stuff!
