Holiday_cookies Holiday cookies by Tammy Vitale

This is what I spent a good deal of time doing yesterday evening.  I have always espoused that there are all kinds of creativity and this is my creation for the day.  cookies.  Lots and lots of cookies.  My Aunt Rose’s sugan cookie recipe (upper right), caramel cashew cakes (don’t know how they taste – a newbie – but they smell good).  Oatmeal raisin.  And not showing up here, peanut butter.  Yum.

None of the traditional cookie makers have made it around to making cookies this year, so I did.  they will be late getting sent out, but better late than never.  I cannot believe what a great holiday mood I am in this year!

So drool over the goodies.

I am off to interview today.  And to Grandson’s holiday program if I can get Husband up and out (way too early and an hour’s drive away).  We’ll see.

Here’s a good cause:  Trump Donald Trump.  Who is apparently trying to bulldoze 4,000 year old dunes in Scotland to build a golf course and other commercial buildings.  The locals think it a very bad idea.  Digg URL to vote the article up where everyone will see Trump (who has spent so much time  making himself look like a great guy on TV) for who he is:  http://digg.com/environment/Campaign_to_stop_Donald_Trump_destroying_4_000_year_old_Scottish_dunes

Donald Trumps site (about which Taexalia, who sent out notice of this atrocity, says: "note how it speaks as if the airport/road work is already planned – none of it has been oldged with planning!).  His site shows the landscape he’s going to dig up.  http://www.trumpgolfscotland.com

Pass it on.

Finally, don’t forget, share your wealth:  The Web Women Giving Circle.  the goal is $100,000.  We just passed $20,000 and climbing.  Be a part of something way bigger than yourself!  Join the Giving Circle with a contribution of any size.

thought for the day:  Living in process is being open to insight and encounter.  Creativity is becoming intensively absorbed in the process and giving it form.  Susan Smith
