Hanging at artdc.org's 12×12 show this Sunday. The venue is at 5710 Baltimore Avenue (Route 1), Hyattsville, MD, and will be open for the Hyattsville Arts Festival on May 16, 11am – 5pm. Y'all come!
Got the news yesterday that I have been accepted to this year's ArtsFest at AnnMarie Garden in Dowell, Calvert County, MD. This is a fairly large local show and I was juried in with my jewelry. Which gives me great reason to go buy more beads! I'll miss the bead show in Baltimore this coming weekend because of work and the above mentioned load in, but there's another one coming in Chantilly VA in May…so…I'll save some pennies. Of course I need to make more glass beads too as that's what I want to show.

tammy, what a wonderful article, so informative and helpful for people like myself who have yet to make the step "out there"…I was admiring your display and your female torso with the gold breastbone gave me an idea as I love her but realize I have no spare money at the moment…BUT
I was wondering about the possibility of you making a cast of one of my paintings? is that something you might be up for doing? I am very excited about the making a painting of one of my women, right now in my head, into a 2 dimensional creature I could hang on the wall….having no clue of the costs[or anything else] involved, we would need to talk [how fun!!]

anyway, we always need an excuse to buy more stuff for art right?? it soothes the savage beast and if you can make a little or a lot of money in the process, wonderful, YAY! I love what you're doing with the glass lately, especially the color…very yummy, wish i had some money but i do have lots of paint and roses so that will do 😉
