FISH!

Each of these clay-sculptured fish is individually hand-made, glazed and hangs with d-rings and wire attached to the back.  The biggest measures 8" long x 8.5" wide and the smaller ones average 5" long x 6" wide.  They can hang individually or in groups (I like the groups better, but then I have tons of them, so hanging in groups is no problem).  The small fish start at $22.  This larger fish is $37.  And that pretty much tends to be the range of pricing unless I get creative and make a really big fish (I’ve made them up to $45, but tend to the medium size).

Zodiac Symbols!

On July 15 I posted photos of the castings for the 12 symbols (as promised I will start trying to give you actualy links as opposed to saying things like:  "Sometime in July I posted photos….go back and look.  Aren’t you proud of me?!).  Here are Aries and Cancer, glazed and fired, to stand as examples for the whole:

On the same day (now why did the print size just change?  Sorry folks.  Please bear with the technical difficulties today…the photos aren’t as good as I’d like but the wall where I usually take photos has been spackled and painted and I am reduced to trying to take pictures standing on stools with the work on my kitchen counter…not exactly optimal)…Anyways.  On the same day I also shared that I was making Elemental Tiles:  Earth, Air, Fire, Water.  Here they are:

My plan (there goes the type again…I am SOOO sorry!) is to do the Earth and Fire in darker colors…I should have photographed them together as that would have made it easier to get some simblance (symblance?  symblence?  I plead guitly to the spelling police) of balance in the lighting, but here you go.  This is what I have at the moment.
