The point is not half
full or empty – refill it!
Attitude is all.
At #63 of 100 poems (2/3rds the way through) it should be habit by now. I seem to be one of those who does not gain habits easily, who slides back to old ways the moment I’m not paying attention. Yesterday I got hooked into Netflix’s “The Code” awesome story, well acted, very convoluted, depressing in some ways but still a great story. And I didn’t even think about writing.
I thank goodness for the Haiku in this focused run to 100. For me it is like sketches on busy days in Art Every Day Month (November).
Now I have to go feed the cats since it is morning (I’m playing catchup) and they are wondering why the food purveyor is so late. They are keyed to my opening the shades on my back windows and that was half an hour ago.

I admire you for sticking to the full 100-day commitment. I couldn’t do it. After the original 30 days I struggled, finally stopped. Although………..I’m back to at least writing daily – something – just something until I find something in it.
Agreed about Haikus (and this is a nice one) being sketches……often challenging and always rewarding.
