Since I spent a good deal of time today ordering photographs from this exhibit (you can see all of them in my Facebook Album) I’m offering them as today’s art for Art Every Day Month. I did create a quick magic marker/crayon drawing but the photos are really my nth for the day so I’ll share them. If you’ve never had a chance to see a Chilhuly exhibit, put it on your bucket list. Should be seen in person at least once in your life!
I can tell you that I could have stood in one spot the whole time and just shifted the camera’s angle and distance and come away with just as many good photos as I have here. And I don’t have a spectacular camera.
After I had been around the main room once I had to go around again because I became so aware of the play of shadow and light and reflection and how once you started paying attention to that you were seeing a completely different show.
So around and around I went.
Enjoy!

Christine – I highly recommend it! You’re closer than I am – it’s well worth the time! And take a camera if you’re so inclined – one of my ArtGalPals left her good one at home and it talking about going back just to photograph it some more!
you’ve inspired me to want to go to this exhibition, too!
