Hand=built clay garden sculpture, Totem Woman, by Tammy Vitale of Tam’s Originals
This will be short, sweet and to the point because today is launching fast.
By way of the Build a Better Blog gals, I discovered MaketingrTom.com, and browsing his site (still trying to understand links and key words and trackbacks and all that other stuff – slowly but surely), I ran across his blog, Message Boards and adverts which had (further down the page) a great suggestion for finding links for your website/blog under the heading "Identifying Useful Directories to Submit to." "If you’re finding it difficult to identify suitable directories where you can list your site, why not use Google to identify them for you. Simply type in "submit URL" AND "keyword" and Google will list all sites with your keyword that have a "Submit URL" button. You could substitute "Submit URL" for "Add URL", "List URL", etc. For example, for business, type in "Submit URL" AND "business". "
I’ve just tried it out and it works so well that I have a todo list for administrative work a mile long.
Enjoy!
Thought for the day: "Very often when we say, ‘I would love to undertake X, if only I had the time,’ we are imagining a blissfully distractionless epoch in which we are free to simply create. Experience shows, however, that such freedom is actually not freedom at all. Artists thrive on structure. Given too much time and space, our consciousness flows across the floodplain like a river overrunning its banks. Most writers cannot write all day. Most painters find they have only a few highly productive hours. Setting up a creative grid that allots time for family and recreation as well as work ensures that we will have the richness of temperament to execute rich work."
