Those of you who read regulary know that many of my "thoughts for the day" are taken from the few but wonderful women I follow who help me keep on target with my business. One of those is the wise and wonderful Molly Gordon.

I am VERY excited to share with you that Molly Gordon (Visit Molly's blog.), whom I have followed for years, is doing guest interviews in her Self Employment Virtual Blog tour .  Molly graced me with not 1 but 3 days!!!!! of interviews around questions I have about being a self employed entrepreneur.  (As Molly, self-employed herself, says:  "I know what it's like to work for a crazy woman!")

Molly is the creator of The Self Employment Telesummit – a 10 day long virtual conference aimed at helping self-employed folks (like me, and like a lot of you) create solid successful businesses and still manage to have a life.  (Yes, I'm doing a lot of personal work on having a successful business and still having a life right now.  And Molly is absolutely one of the best).

So make a note to come back and read for the next 3 days and be sure to comment  8.09 corded lampwork 7 bds autumn with chartreuse $35 because everyone who comments will get a free copy of Molly's Sanity Saver e-book AND will be entered to win a FRE*E gold membership for the telesummit (if THAT doesn't convince you to take a minute to leave a comment, nothing will!).

Here's another goodie:

Finally, since I'm just learning Twitter, and because a lot of you Tweet, here's where to follow the Self Employment Telesummit on Twitter.

thought for the day:  What stories do you tell yourself about getting clients?  What problems do you see?  Notice how you explain the difficulty of getting clients to yourself and questionsthose explanations….Then list your thoughts…Notice that the thoughts…aren't necessarily logical.  What matters is that [the thoughts identify] the stories…See if you can find three ways in which the turnarounds are as true as your original thought. [note:  turnarounds are based in the work of Byron Katie – that's another post, and chapter 5 in Molly's book.  You can google Byron Katie and her Work]  Molly Gordon, The Way of the Accidental Entrepreneur:  The practical path to building a business that fits "just right"

  • hi tammy, I haven't visited in awhile and my goodness, how you've changed! how beautiful you are, lady! I love it when people change their pics and I should do the same but I have to get one first…hmmm

anyway, love your pieces lately and will read the little interview you are doing…sounds great not that I ever make any money making art…I seem to only spend it so far, maybe I will get convinced to try and change that.
    xoxo
