I am starting to rearrange the sidelines of this blog to use as a compendium of my work.  I had originally thought I would use my website for that, but there is a thing about putting pictures up that takes longer (and costs more)than I had anticipated, and this space has worked really well, and is under my control so I am switching the new work to here.  Slowly.

I currently have a question in to the techies about rearranging photos once they are uploaded.  Perhaps I will simply have to break the photos out into separate albums:  torsos, designer tiles, furniture, architectural tilework, fish, word tiles.  Much the same way I currently have my website broken out.

Part of me thinks:  "Oh!  and I could write the story of each torso" (since each has one that goes with her name); and another part thinks, "Yeah, right.  You can’t keep up with what you’re doing now."  The reality is probably somewhere in between.

So for today, here are final pictures of the masks in progress I presented here earlier this week for your viewing enjoyment.  Each mask is slab and hand built from low-fire clay.  These are all finished with patinas.

Mask_lady_of_the_night_final One mask is missing – I took her picture as the camera batteries were running out of steam and it was blurred.  Perhaps I’ll get her here tomorrow.Mask_artifact_bronze_age Mask_pan_bronze
