Rather than finish yesterday’s, it is my nature to start yet something else new.  I LOVE starts.  I’m not so much taken by finishing.  Except with my art which won’t leave me alone until it is in the condition it wants to be in.  I find the energy doesn’t mind sharing space with other art energy, but eventually they do call to be completed.

This is going to be a Spirit Doll.  She is made of redwood driftwood gifted to me by a blogging friend. This piece happened to have a whole in the back and I slipped to small oak branches through for her “arms” which I then covered with bias tape for stength.  I see her with lots of difference strips of material hanging down, decorated with buttons and lace and other findings.  Along with my start you can see the piece I found on Pinterest which is the impetus for this piece.
