Yes.

One earring.

Again.

But lest you think I only make one ever, you can see here that I did indeed manage to finish the set from Day 5.

Today I spent 8 hours in real estate class studying ethics and mediation, drove 1.5 hour each direction in dark and rain and came home rather exhausted.

I was absent for 2 days because hubby and I went on a spur-of-the-moment getaway:

wine and scalded oysters at Ingelside Vineyards in the Northern Neck of Virginia

aedm wine and oysters

and then to the Eastern Shore to preview several potential investment houses on the water (alas, they were way too fixer up) staying on Kent Island overnight.

Creative in its own way.

  • Jackie – not sure about the shape of that earring – might round the corners a bit, but the copper is wonderful – love the coloring on it. The back side is all nice and clean. I think I like not clean copper the best.

  • Fixer uppers on the water, on the Eastern Shore anyways…if you have an extra 100K+ just waiting to be spent, they’re perfect! I will say that if you want something close to water (walking distance) Cambridge MD is the most affordable place around. Big old houses, Victorians. Liveable (which the ones I looked at were not). I spend a lot of time on the Eastern Shore of MD growing up. Love it there. Always feels like going home. Wouldn’t mind having a home there.

  • Love the earrings and that copper that is so obviously no longer scrap.

    And those oysters look sublime.

  • I have a fixer-upper, so I can’t begin to imagine what a fixer-upper on the water would look like. Since I love copper, I was interested in the earring, even though my body chemistry doesn’t allow me to wear any jewelry.
