Art Every Day Month 2018 (AEDM2018) and NaNoWriMo 2018 – Day 22 and 23

Art Every Day Month 2018 (AEDM)

November 22:  I hope everyone (in the U.S. since we were the only ones celebrating) had a lovely Thanksgiving Day among friends and family.  My offering for the 22nd was eating too much.  Son wasn’t able to join us because he was hosting 50 drops-in if you like friends at his house with games for kids and adults and a ton of food.  So from my family to yours: peace and joy with those you care for.

November 23:  starting designs for holiday gifts since I got a load of supplies in this past week and then found I *still* didn’t have exactly what I need so I went ahead and designed but ordered a few more things and won’t finish the necklace until I get them in and figure out exactly what I want the final design to look like  (more of clasp/closing than anything else.  I want an expandable clasp and find I don’t have anything in gold which is what I need).  The earrings are finished though:  rose gold-filled wires and Swarovski beads/elements.

NaNoWriMo2018

Nothing so far today, but I did just over 1,667 yesterday and am now at 44,851.  I do plan to play with writing some this evening and will catch it all up tomorrow.  Closing in on 50K.  Go me!

  • You make me wish I still wore jewelry–LOL! So pretty. Leah and I used to make some beaded jewelry years ago–mostly for Leah who still worked in an office then. Those boards are priceless, aren’t they? She made some jewelry for friends and co-workers, too. We sold some beaded bookmarks on etsy. Fun memories.

You are so close to hitting the 50,000 words, woman!! WOW!! That’s amazing! Most of the people (bloggers) I have heard who start this never get to the 50K. Whoohoo!! Go-go-go! 🙂

  • “visiting me” of course. i did not have my morning coffee yet;)

  • you make some beautiful jewelry, i´ve never seen a tool like this for laying the beads before. thanks for visiting my via AEDM!

  • WOW, you put that necklace together beautifully, and matching earrings, too. What a fun gift someone will receive.

Glad you had a great Thanksgiving.

  • Some lucky people will enjoy your holiday art gifts for certain. I had a nice Thanksgiving and glad to hear yours was also nice. Hugs-Erika
