Art Every Day Month 2018 (AEDM)

Something simple and yet profound:  planting spring bulbs.  In the dead of winter, when things are dreary and grey and dead looking, I think of spring bulbs snuggled under the ground, sending out roots and dreaming of the sun, just like me.  It helps when the days are short and the nights are long.  Plus it’s a forever kind of action – one that keeps giving and giving, even if I move away from this place, they will come up and turn their faces to the sky.

  • Seems like planting spring bulbs in the cold is the ultimate of optimism and faith in nature. 😉

  • I need people like you to come to my apartment and make up for the fact that I am not a gardener…love all that you do in the garden. Your property always looks amazing!
