Art Every Day Month 2018 (AEDM)

My creativity for today is going out shopping for supplies to make a gingerbread house tomorrow.  It will actually be a rice crispies treat house, because that’s what the gkids have decided.  That is very creative for me.   I sat in front of my Pinterest board where I have collected house ideas, and wrote down possible creative pieces, then went out and hunted them down.  3 different stores.  If you know me, this might as well have been an African safari.  I don’t shop.  Today I shopped.  There I hereby claim that as creative.

And I also found a great box at BJ’s for the foundation.  I was wondering what we would use.  Thinking I’d have to raid my studio for wood, but this is really really sturdy and how heavy can rice crispies, graham crackers and candy be, right?

NaNoWriMo 2018

Total words to date:  34,175.  Today’s count 1,403.

That close to breaking 35K you’d think I would have pushed on.  But it was all I could do to sit myself down and write what I did.  Hitting mid-month blahs, I guess.  Plus the characters won’t tell me how it’s going to end.  I have a clue but I have to have another 15,000 words before it all comes to a resolution.  If they would just tell me, I’d be able to figure out how many words I can get out of the resolution, or decide to throw in another character or something.

I’m learning by doing, though.  The important of scenes for getting word count has finally dawned on me.
