Rules for Living Wylde
1. Protect the wild places (inside and out).
2. Clear the rivers. Without water there is no life.
3. Rumble, erupt and spew: recognize that sharp points will dull as new spires rise with a great deal of commotion.
4. Reflect the moon. Do not be afraid of darkness.
5. Honor the creature in you and her needs for life (a safe nest, food, space to roam, a place to play).
6. Acknowledge that healed means having been broken, and that broken can put old things together in marvelous new ways.
7. Name “mis-takes/mis-steps” as stepping stones on your learning path, not stumbling blocks.
8. Welcome movement and transformation and the chaos out of which they arrive as a given to be welcomed as the norm. Understand that some years are quieter/noiser than others.
9. Respect your instincts.
10. Listen to your intuition.
11. Celebrate your divinity daily.
(you can see the original post with the rules here).
Wylde Women’s Wisdom
You can’t quite name it – it’s more of a feeling: a restless yearning; a notion that time is speeding and you are, in this space, standing still. So you speed up. Nothing changes. So you speed up and take more on and say “yes” to everything that comes your way to prove that you, indeed, are a woman who can bring home the (fake) bacon and fry it up in a pan.
How did you get here? Wrong question.

Thanks so much for this, Tammy. Here’s the link to my colored in version.
Mary – thanks!
[…] time to color one of Tammy Vitale’s images for quite a while. A couple of days ago she posted this image on her blog for us to download. It was so much fun to give myself a different kind of me time and imagine who […]
Wonderful drawing and inspirational words to live by!
I absolutely love the smell of crayons and the great memories that those smells and such bring back…coloring in the lines –coloring outside the lines – they made me feel so free…thanks for sharing it all!
Help yourself – I think you have to go thru the Facebook, but you’re welcome to try the wordpress.
I don’t know what the glitch is that it doesn’t seem to download, and my web person says she
doesn’t know either (she didn’t put together the template – she just rescued me – so pieces of
the site are mysteries).
Thanks for stopping by!
Colouring for grown-ups! What a great idea! And they look really good! (^∇^)
I so agree!
There’s just nothing like a box of crayons and a page to color.
I’ve seen some pretty neat altered books with drawings on pages colored, but then you
have to think about the drawing.
I especially like that you can download again and
again so you can explore different possibilities. And it’s okay to color outside the lines! ;]

What a great thing you are doing with the coloring pages. There really ought to be more “adult-friendly” coloring books out there, my nieces don’t like it when I steal theirs. But coloring really puts me back in the whole “I’m being creative for myself, for my peace of mind as opposed to wanting to impress other people with my work” Great job!
Leah – no surprise, you are a kittycat lover! Kiss your kitties for me!
Great message, Tammy. And I adore your drawing today, especially the happy kitty. 🙂
Julie – thank you for your kind words – and do come back and leave a link in your comments
(or on facebook or on the coloring book page under resources) and let me know so I can see it!
The cool thing about coloring book pages that you download is that you can do themover and over!
Thanks for stopping by!
I’m going to print this out later today and color it in. Love it AND I love your message. Beautiful!!
