Signed up for a free on-line workshop on how to paint faces. The key word is “paint”.
First, when it was due to show, I had an emergency call (that turns out wasn’t an emergency) from one of my renters and spent 3 hours going to the house and back but that’s okay because part of that was stopping to buy bulbs at 40% off (which was going to be my creativity today but drawing was better, quicker, less cold, etc. Friday I’ll do bulbs) and beads for birthdays and holidays coming up.
Here is the workshop. It was free and there was a replay because her suggestion in the original workshop is to watch all the way through and then go back. Well, I’m behind on writing today (mostly because I’ve found two spots that were repetitive and deleted them and put myself behind where I started, so I’m only 300 words to the good as I write this), so I decided not to paint, since I hadn’t paid attention to that and thought we’d be sketching first, but to do a really fast face sketch based on how she started the video, which I haven’t watched all the way through yet. AEDM to be done, and writing, THEN finish the video.
Here you have the finished 3-minute sketch and the picture of my sketch pad and video that I was watching is the set photo for the day.
Here’s the link in case you’d like to watch the video: https://events.genndi.com/replay/169105139238465003/d089da0944/1/
NaNoWriMo 2018 – word count as of right now: 30,403. Yesterday was 30,157 . Those deletions hurt. Oh well. Such is the writing life, and it is just a draft.

I was offline for over a day due to loss of electricity on my block. You drew a FANTASTIC face. She is a gem.
sorry about the word deletion. You will find a way to make it up, though.
