Valentine's flowers from my Beloved. Feb 14 was our 26th anniversary of mostly wedded bliss.

5 Intentions

These are not resolutions.  They are intentions and *I* am a work in progress. Go ME!

1.  How to break away  without making “the other” wrong.  Another way to say this is:  How to recognize when I’ve outgrown a situation and am staying to resist creating my next step.

2.  How to have intense feelings, and relay them, without getting angry.  This doesn’t count with my family.  They can feel the intensity.  They will say I am yelling when I am not.  This only counts when you’re speaking, say, to a judge and telling him you disagree with the law and if he puts you on a jury you will not abide by his instructions.  And similar situations.

3.  Appreciation for and acknowledgement of all the different voices in my head.  Full moon tonight.  Yesterday was a bit unfocused for me.  Insecure Voice was taking Speaking Out Voice to task (see #2 above).  Insecure thinks that just maybe Speaking Out is very noisey and why can’t she just be quiet and be nice.  Speaking Out reads “being nice” as being a doormat and not standing in one’s own power.  Endless circles between these two.

Lynda Hill says:

This full Moon is a particularly potent one as Mercury, Mars, Neptune and Chiron [the wounded healer] are all conjunct (together with) the Sun and opposite the Moon. This can pose a bit of a problem as words, thoughts, desires, actions, etc, may be hard to sort through, make sense of, be correctly heard, or be directed in the right way. This is definitely a time to use your filters to see what the true need is.

OKAY!

4.  Finding and using my filters around what the true need is.

5.  Celebration of imperfection – a true sign of growth.  Beaming at myself in my mirror I say:  “you go, Woman!” and mean it!

3 Treats

1.  I have a new blog, Sixties Women.  While the rhythm hasn’t quite been worked out yet, I think it’s going to work something like this:  This blog on Tuesday’s and Sixties Women on Thursdays.  I hope you will click over and sign up for Sixties Women, espcially since I’ve been magnificently imperfect in learning how to set that blog up all by myself  (with a class by Kathleen Sullivan, The Savvy VA  who finally got this site up and running for me when I was in despair, and with much post class handholding) and insert a way for you to sign up.  If for no other reason than to applaud my facing and working thru my fear of technology you should go sign up for it right now!

2.  You are Loved Unconditionally – mixed media art.  Lovely piece on YouTube.  Treat Yourself!  Check out her blog here.  I intend something of this sort, eventually, for Sixties Women.  I have no idea what that is, actually.  And that’s okay.  I’m declaring this anyways, because I am in awe of her site and the energy it must take to keep it going.

3.  Laura Hollick’s Soul Art TV with (my favorite artist blogger) Leah Piken Kolidas talking about Creative Spiritual Revolution.  Leah is offering a great article, Blogging to Boost Your Art Career.  Go ahead….Treat yourself again!

The day here in Southern Maryland has turned shirt sleeve warm, the pond has thawed, and I am amidst new things in the studio.  Want to see them?  Wander over and get yourself some coloring book pages.  You get my newsletter as a bonus.  I’ll be showing new work in the newsletter next Tuesday.  This work is made to travel, which means, should you be so inclined, you can order the foundations from me or create them yourselves – the howto will be in the newsletter.  That’s next Tuesday in my smART Women Newsletter.  Don’t miss it!

Wylde Women’s Wisdom

When things don’t work out exactly as you planned:  1.  Listen for the Universe laughing; 2.  Take it as a personal message from your Higher Self that things are stirring and you need to pay attention; 3. Begin again.  And again. And again.    Tammy Vitale
