For the year 2011 I am going to put together a Wylde Women’s Wisdom book of quotes, or perhaps a book of essays with a deck of quotes.  At the moment this looks as if it will be self-published.  Perhaps later it will be “officially” published (as Tama Kieves did with “This Time I Dance.”  But for now I am concentrating on getting whatever wants to be born birthed and that means doing it myself.

Modeling on Patti Digh’s Life is a Verb and Creative is a Verb and her others books, I am asking my internet community (which is very very creative) to supply the illustrations for this project.

These women are inspirations for me because they walk their talk.  It’s about time I did too.  The harder stuff – the stuff that scares me (okay, hopping out of the regular working world into full-time art was scarey too.  But it’s so far past being scarey that it’s time I stretch again).

What

You get:  your art, with your name and website appended, out there via my own outreach efforts. 

I get:  your amazing art to use in my project.

The world gets some new energy that it must be looking for or I wouldn’t be so intensely focused on finally getting this done (after all, it has sat happily on back burners for years now).
