Wylde Women Award pix

Introducing the Wylde Women Award to give to your favorite Wylde Woman blogger.   You can give it to one or one hundred or any number inbetween – it’s up to you.  Make sure you link to their site in your post.  Then link back to this blogsite (http://www.TammyVitale.com/) (so I can go visit all these wonderful women).

Purpose of the Award:  To send love and acknowledgement to women who brighten your day, teach you new things and live their lives fully with generosity and joy.

Update 1:  The Wylde Women Award has been around the world since it first was sent out in July of 2008.  I thought it would be nice if I had a way to add folks so that all of us could interact easier, and found this fun widget (below).  Simply add your name and e-address there and it will be much easier to track the movement of the Award. [note – we are in the throes of trying to get pictures and widgets to insert in this blog – in the meantime – do leave a comment!)

And don’t forget – yet another way to follow what goes on with Women, Art, Life:Weaving It All Together is to sign up to get the blog regularly .

Update 2

We are also using this widget as a place to track Wylde Women who are coloring from the Wylde Woman’s Coloring Book and want to share.  Just fill in below!

Wylde Women’s Wisdom:

My Sisters sit in a circle.  Can you see them?  One is dark as night Her eyes are stars, comets fly from her mouth when she speaks.  One has fire for hair.  She dances among us, lighting our clothes with red flames.  one sits in the center, blind/folded.  She wishes not to e seen.  We form a wall around her, sing a song whose meter makes new meansings from old words.  Tammy Vitale

What do we live for, if it is not to make life less difficult for each other?  George Eliot

Thanks for the peek at artful adventures site; wow it is packed with deliciousness.

(btw I had a dream about you last night. I have no idea how I know it was you – I just knew and identified it with you in the dream. You picked up myself and another person in your car and was going to take us somewhere. You headed right for the curb and magically this other person and I were transported out of the car and watching you drive over this median in the road; the curb painted red. so of course I had to find out the meaning of this portion of the dream…

    car…
A car within a dream usually represents self or the physical body
If you're a passenger, someone else is in charge
A car accident is likely to imply that you're unfocused or that you need to slow down
Cars are symbols of the real life conscious world. They are symbols of how you are progressing towards your goals. So think about the practical ways in which you have been moving towards your goals. Is the dream making some point about how well or how badly you are progressing. Are you heading in the right direction. A car at a standstill could suggest that you are taking a pause or that you have come up against some delay.

    red…
Survival (1st chakra) or issues concerning your foundation in life
    Danger, warning
    Restriction, red tape
Being in debt, in the red

    couldn't find curb but I found pavement…
Being aligned with your life path, which is symbolized by the road
Something on the side, that is not mainstream or the main area of focus
    Becoming sidetracked)

well; anyway I thought you would get a kick out of it.

I have posted your award to a wonderful lady who has been my strength for the past 4 or 5 years. We have never met but she has ‘held’ my hand so many times. She supported me through my husband’s death and through the horrid months after.
She has been there for me in the dark hours when I thought I was lost; she is filled with wisdom and love and I wanted to just say ‘thanks Birdie’.

  54. Sooziii

    Oops forgot Birdie’s site address.
