Tammy Vitale Sculptural Lines

Over the years, different energies arrive and depart, leaving behind a line of work that contributes to what comes next.

Wylde Woman Dreaming (in a private collection)

Here are links to my Facebook albums, which are public for viewing and which give a comprehensive overview of my work over the years.

To view optimally, click on the page picture.  This takes you to the pictures own page.  Click on the image on that page, and you get a nicely enlarged photo for viewing. See something interesting?  Email me – many of these pieces are available for sale!  info@TammyVitale.com

Stand Alone Sculpture

When I first started working seriously in clay, I loved making stand-alone sculptures.  Alas, they don’t sell well, so I don’t make them much anymore.  Now they grace my yard (they are 4 season safe as indicated by having been outside through hurricanes and blizzards) or are displayed in my home for my own enjoyment.  Some have been sold.  Those that have not are waiting for their forever home.  If you see something you like, give me a holler!  info@TammyVitale.com

Sculptural Assemblages

Guardians of the Chesapeake

This is new energy that started coming through in late 2011.  I have made architectural assemblages (made for a site specific, permanent space) since 2004, but Sculptured Assemblages are lighter in weight and more accessible for indoor and outdoor display.  They fall somewhere between mosaics, found object assemblage and bas relief sculpture – which means they have room for lots of imaginative play!

Guardians of the Rainforest Guardians of the Chesapeake

Playdate (where the concept started to gel).

Garden Goddess (where the concept was actually born, March 2011).

Here is the unveiling partyfor the Garden Goddess.

Small Torsos

Created to broaden my offerings, and concept based in my larger goddess torso wall sculptures.

Wylde Women

Precursors to the Guardian Angels (above), Wylde Women (this is just a sampling) were made between 2006 and 2009.  Every now and then I make a batch because I really like them.  They measure about 9″ tall by 7″ wide.   Other Artwork that hasn’t been broken out and cataloged yet – for your browsing pleasure.

Permission (Yes!)

I don’t really have a name for this line yet – but they are all about the poem in “thought for the day” at the bottom of this blog.
