There are two types of scanner heads, and I think you have the kind that doesn't have depth of field. It's not a difference of cost, so if you liked the scanning but want more detail, you can probably find an inexpensive scanner that will do the job. I'll look up the terminology, if you're interested. I think that the right scanner will do a terrific job, easily...

Love your new 'bead' space. I use lots of beads in my book art and it was always a challenge to keep them visible but 'orderly'. My dear husband built some shelves above my work table on which I could keep lots of empty baby food jars filled with beads and he added dowels to the front of the shelves where I can hang strands of beads. Its not only easy to work with -- but fun to look at. I love it that you are so thrilled with the ideas of combining politics and art. I so admire people who are able to do this.

Great blog! I know I've come across your name before and not just because of your comment on my comment over at Alyson's blog, so maybe we were in the same online class or something. I'm adding a link to your site on mine, I may come to you from time to time for advice since we're both using typepad and I'm still figuring out all the bells and whistles. But we speak from the same heart and I know will enjoy the connection. ~S http://ancientartist.typepad.com

"...when you do not tire within but seek the sweet satisfaction of your life and your work, you are doing what you were meant to be doing. "

That part fits so well!

I'm so worked up with the energy of it all that it's the first thing I think of when I wake up. That's the way new love affects me too.
