It's not a difference of cost, so if you liked the scanning but want more detail, you can probably find an inexpensive scanner that will do the job. I use lots of beads in my book art and it was always a challenge to keep them visible but 'orderly'. My dear husband built some shelves above my work table on which I could keep lots of empty baby food jars filled with beads and he added dowels to the front of the shelves where I can hang strands of beads. Its not only easy to work with -- but fun to look at. I love it that you are so thrilled with the ideas of combining politics and art.
