Heron art might be plentiful in your area, but it looks very refreshing out here where you don't often see it. I like this guy a lot – he reminds me of my egret crossing the road…

I just found your blog, and it is wonderful. A bit of a homecoming. I've never "met" anyone else who has read Anam Cara. John O'Donohue is my very favortie writer. Right now I'm rereading his book, Beauty. I think I like it maybe even more than Anam Cara… these two books are my absolute favorites. I've been on the path of discovering the feminine divine myself for about the last eight years. I grew up a Utah Mormon. I still live in old patriarchial Utah and it's a struggle sometimes after the awakenings I've experienced. I am so happy to have found your blog. It's pointing me in the direction I have known I need to take my blog and my art in– I just haven't been that brave yet. Thanks.
