Nov_11_kwan_yin_1 kwan yin, collage by Tammy Vitale

Today’s AEM collage includes  a watercolor from yesterday and a photoshopped photo of my torso, Mother, Mother Ocean made to look like a stamp.  Pretty cool, huh?  the stamp thing.  Got the idea from Laura, another AEM participant. Yesterday she had a very cool post of clouds made into water.  We chatted a bit and it made me want to see what I could get out of photoshop that was within my, ahem, technical means. I tried a bunch but I liked this "stamp" change the best.  I remember one called "coloring book" that I had at some point on some computer and may go looking for that sometime.  It would be fun to put together a coloring book of torsos (outline maybe?).

Then I positioned this one on top of the background and added the fish from way back in the beginning and took a few more shots (it’s a happening!  now you see it!  now you don’t!) and got these.Nov_12_kwan_yin_1 Nov_11_12_kwan_yin

Now, since I’m not really around (I’m preposting this since I will be on the road to A Step Above in Berlin and then to Joie de Vivre in Cambridge and away overnight), you can either count these as 3 for Nov 11 and 12 (in which case I’m one ahead) or just count them all fo Nov 11 and maybe I’ll have photos to post on Nov 12 when I get home.  I have my camera.  I have the card in my camera.  The batteries seem to be in good shape, so I should have a bunch of photos, everything going the way it’s supposed to. But you just never know, do you?

Still need to pack clothes, got the car unpacked and repacked.  Finished 2 pieces and realize I didn’t take pictures of them (torso and mask – the ones that were sprayed yesterday) – will try to remember to take pictures when I drop them off.  Their names, by the way, are Eve’s Garden for the torso, and Eve for the mask.

thought for the day:  The secret to unlocking the door:  remember, there is no door; there is no key.   Tammy Vitale
