No – that title is not a typo.
This morning my son left a Facebook post that intrigued me:
Yo I just got back from the future, I was just at new years 2014 and I looked back over the year and found out that in 2013 my life is even more awesome than ever before! So I came back to enjoy it. Peace!!!
I have to tell you, that his writing totally inspired me and I sat down and wrote a review of 2013 from the perspective of January 1, 2014.
Why?
Because Son is possible one of the best manifesters I’ve ever met. He is lucky enough to have circles that sit and say his affirmations back to him. He says this works like magic because they are able to believe what they are saying without his own blocks in the way. That is, others can mirror your affirmations back to you with much more clarity because they don’t carry your baggage and are willing to believe the possibilities more fully.

What did 2013 bring you?
Did you have a daily practice that helped you be your bigger Self?
What community(ies) helped you through?
Did you have a guiding word(s)?
Did what you accomplish matter to you?
Did you make your year great personally, professionally, authentically?
Who can sit with you and “remember” 2013 into being?
What was 2013 like for you? And how will you always remember it?
Write it all down. Collage it all out (or just pieces – with “photos” you took along the way). Can’t hurt. And who knows where magic begins?

” Did what you accomplish matter to you?”
That question is so deep… looking back at 2012 – I was surprised to find that actually, what I accomplished DID matter to me! Looking “back” at 2013… I will have to think about this. What is important for me to accomplish, and how is it important for me to accomplish it? A question asked to our class earlier this year was “who do you want to be known as”… but really, I always want to ask “who do I want to BE”… I want to be known as the person I really am inside. The real question is – who do I want that person to be? How do I want to direct my energies, what do I want to focus on, and what do I need to give myself permission for… Hmm. Lots to think about…
Still working on that practice. From my heart, thanks for reminding.
