The Tao te Ching is one of my favorite books (my favorite translation is by Stephen Mitchell). I have discovered that that as I grow and change, the wisdom I find there changes – I learn new ways of seeing because I have changed.

My passion is making art that summons up between it and the viewer that same story-space where things unveil themselves as the viewer interacts with the world and then comes home to interact with the piece.

I recognize that as a lofty goal. My torso series come closest to reaching it for me – you are invited to see if they do the same for you!
