Tropical Depression Ernesto dumped a lot of water and much wind in my area – more I think than Isabel did 3 years ago.  So the Heron’s Way Gallery opening was mostly flooded out (see parking lot pictures below), but some hardy souls made it in and I made 2 sales and worked out a trade deal with another artist whose work I like so all was not lost.

We are having a closing reception the last Saturday in September so will have another round of publicity and chance to recoup.

I took wall pictures so that you can see sizes of things in reference to each other.  The largest paintings are 24" x 36".  I posted original poem paintings too (NFS) just for atmosphere.  All in all it gave me a great idea of how much work fits in how much space so that I can get ready for my show at Joie de Vivre in November.  Meanwhile, the fish I made for Unique Boutique in October (approaching quickly) are selling and this week will be a studio week to make fish, word tiles, zodiac tiles and then play with some sketches/ideas that occurred during vacation.

Clicking on the pictures opens them larger.  Enjoy!
