Emphatic Art
Hand-built clay sculpture, Spirit Bear, by Tammy Vitale, of Tam’s Originals
Here’s a fun article on art from MSNBC that changes with your mood: Emphatic art changes to suit mood of viewer. "British and American computer scientists have developed artwork that changes according to how the viewer feels. Special software picks up facial cues and adapts the colour and brush strokes of the digital image." Shades of Dorian Gray!
I discovered from my subscription to Artsticks, a blog by Laura F. Walton. You have to love a blogger whose blog description says: "This blog is created by a reluctant blogger as a last resort; its intentions are to provide an outlet for the frustrations of an arts-crazy multi-genre artist living in rural Texas."
Am off to work my day at the gallery I wrote about yesterday. Calls to the President and Treasurer to check on the accuracy of the information that it is a done deal that we are moving from a $400 space to a $1800 space went unanswered. I’ll try again today. I plan to load out my artwork before I leave. So many changes!
Sorry – no thought for the day – gotta run!
