Freaking brilliant! I’ve already sent the link to my kids, asking them to humor me, read it, print it out, hang it where they can see it, and BELIEVE in that magic. As a family, can you imagine if we all believed in something that strong, both as a family unit and each have a belief as an individual-the possibilities are endless!

I believe in magic! I totally agree with you. There is also the element of aligning yourself with your “future”. You can tell when something is pulling you off course. Hell yes I believe in magic. I know I am doing my right work and even though I look at a book that has very few massages scheduled this week I don’t say “Gee, massage sure is dead.” I use my magical power and say “I am so blessed to have a week where I have lots of time to nurture my soul and prepare me for the very busy weeks to come.” Then I turn the page in my calendar and see an almost fully booked week laid out in front of me, and know that I BELIEVE IN MAGIC. I use it every day. And I am not dissing the answer to my use of it by sitting around in front of the fire. I have been using the opportunity before me and playing the piano and playing with paper.

Excellent post–lots of resonance from the struggles you report. But mostly, I love your “not perfect, but I’ve got time and it’s getting there” when you spoke about your new website. I hear this as something deeper than perseverance–maybe that’s part of the magic!
